Talaria 72v 4464Wh 62Ah ATOM V2 26KW. This Talaria Battery is a 72v 20S battery and was primarily designed for high power and HUGE long range. With a powerful aftermarket controller (see our controller page) the set up for this battery will be up to 26Kw, depending on your motor. Please observe the specifications for your controller and motor. Exceeding the recommended limited may invalidate your warranty.
Exoskeleton /Casing
We have upgraded the casing to marine grade 316 stainless steel, so absolutely no rust issues here! Super tough and powder coated inside and out.
Connectors
For the main Sur Ron Battery to controller connector we use one direct set of discharge cables to the controller via a high capacity QS8 connector using very large 6 AWG cables (this reduces internal resistance and heat build up).
We use a heavy duty QS8 anti spark connector going through a high power harness that needs to be installed to replace the lower powered OEM harness. We supply the high power harness and it is super simple to install.
Domestic Electrics
All your bike accessories are still powered. Some believe that not using the circuit breaker direct to the controller removes the safety of the circuit breaker. However, all our batteries have a full working BMS. Any power shorts or irregular current and the BMS shuts down. This is much more sensitive and accurate than a mechanical breaker (you may note that the Sur Ron Ultra Bee does not use a circuit breaker and relies on the BMS alone).

Fitting
the battery comes fitted with the same connector as on the original battery and connects direct;y tothe bike as i the same way as orriginal.
You will either have to remove the battery compartment battery base (simple only 5 screws to remove) or fit an aftermarket seat liftingh kit.
Battery Compartment Lids or Lifting Kits
Because of the extra battery height (373mm) minor modification will needed to your bike.
There are several options:
#1 Fit an aftermarket battery compartment lid f
#2 Remove the battery plastic base tray in the bike (simply remove the 5 small allen key bolts from the top looking down) and fit our 5mm spacer between the metal battery lid catch and the lid (spacers provided)
