Best for EBMX X-9000 controller systems that trip the battery on connection, or you simply want to run more power without over heating the standard D6 Supra (orange and black) connector.
The QS8 connector uses a two stage connection where the connector restricts the full “in-rush” of electricity until it is pushed fully home. This allows the controller to “pre-charge” before taking the full power from the battery on connection.
Some people like to run their battery direct to the controller without the red trip inline. This can easily be achieved with this loom as we can connect the two trip parts of the loom together. This will be done at your own liability, just let us know in the purchase notes.
- Your battery must have the QS8 connector installed. If your battery does not have this connector (QS8) it will need one to be soldered onto the battery side. This can be highly dangerous as the battery will still be live. This must be undertaken by a competent technician.
