Sur Ron Light Bee Upgrade DC convertor for 96V Batteries

The stock DC convertor or the Sur Ron Light Bee can not take the higher voltage of the 96v 26s batteries. There is no “off the shelf”soltution that can do this with the corrrect connector. The connectors as used on the bikes are proprietary to SR and can not be easily purchased. To give you the abilty to run your lights, we have had to take the expensive course of buying both an original converter to remove the connector and then add it to the new higher voltage DC convertor. Its a very expensive way to do it, but you get your lights working and a power upgrade aswell!.
The new converter is larger than the orginal, but can still be placed beteween the space where the original was removed . Locate the new DC convertor between motor and bash plate. Its a simple job and only really involves unconnecting one DCconvertor and replacing with the new. You wil need ot remove the bash plate from the bike first.
