This incredible and exclusive Talaria Sting MX5 Pro Atom 72v 62Ah Battery & EBMX X-9000V3 Ultra Long Range Battery and Controller Kit massively increases range and acceleration over the OEM set up. Power can be increased to a blistering level of 21kw (our recommendation) and wheel lifting acceleration is stunning. The controller arrives to you un-programmed, but then through a free remote session (Monday t0 Friday), we install the map, calibrate your motor and tune your throttle. Of course, you can still tune your bike yourself should you wish.

Regen & High Power Set Ups

Running regen on high power set ups can cause damage to both the controller and your battery. The motor can give massive power spikes if the motor is quickly turned into a generator from wheel spin and re-engagement (wheelies, jumps, hitting pot holes hard etc.). The battery is designed to give high power and BMS mosfets struggle to suddenly have such a large reverse current fed into them.

We have seen well known third party controllers give damaging current as the controllers become unreliable under reverse polarity caused by their regen settings. “Motor Off” and thumb regen should be set low or better still turned off. If you are running extreme power like 20+ KW (250A, regen must be turned off. Failure to do so may invalidate your warranty.
