Talaria Sting MX5 Pro “Competizione 45B” 82v 23Kw is identical to its brother the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro Competizione 50s 82v, 21Kw but with the uprated battery that allows and additional 2Kw of power power but at the sacrifice of 10% range range. This incredible and exclusive machine has been professionally built by us, with UK Talaria collaboration.
Power has been increased to this blistering level of 23kw and top speeds circa 70MPH. The wheel lifting acceleration is stunning. All of this brought to you by Electron Cycles and professionally tuned.

Exclusivity
We install the superb EBMX X900V2 controller with our custom Competizione side wings. Our special (only for this model) the very exclusive Competizione 45b battery 81.4v 22s 3645Kwh battery (50.6Ah equivalent @72v). We replace the mudguards and hugger for carbon effect hard wearing versions. All these updates for for that extra bling effect! The bike isn’t for those that struggle for money, if you want a discount, it simply means you don’t understand. You don’t buy a Rolex and then ask for money off! The bike looks stunning and rides brillinatly for those who want the best.

The MX5 Talaria Sting Pro MX5 TL5500 has been revised from the ground up to poduce our Talaria Sting MX5 Pro Competizione 82v, incorporating many upgrades and improvements based on customer feedback and distributor recommendations. Significantly improved performance, while maintaining smooth predictable power delivery. Whether new to the sport eBike scene, or a seasoned veteran, the MX5 guarantees performance and reliability like nobody has delivered until now.
More Efficient and Reliable IPM Motor
This Talaria Sting MX5 Pro “Competizione 45B” 82v 23Kw has an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor with bigger and better magnets than ever before and a better cooling system than before. This means better efficiency, better heat dissipation, and most importantly much more reliability than the previous motor.
Magnets coming loose or demagnetized and hall sensors coming loose were the biggest causes of motor failure in the Sting/Surron. This motor also includes a magnetic encoder which removes the need for hall sensors. The motor handles much more power than the previous motor and because it is more efficient, you will get more power out of it. The motor will do higher RPMs than the older motors and will give you a more robust power curve. It is 95% efficient which is the most efficient talaria motor ever… more efficient equates to even more power and more range in a small electric vehicle like the MX5.
81.4v 4060Wh Battery
We replace the OEM 72v Battery 2500Wh (available power) and replace with our huge 81.4v 4060Wh battery, giving monster increases in range and raw power. This allows the motor to spin faster and harder and still allows the motor to run at lower temperatures.

EBMX X-9000 V2 Controller
EBMX Xtreme Electric Mods combine strenuous in-house R&D and collaborations with industry experts to bring you the ultimate Electric Dirt Bike Motor Controller. We have programmed the controller in house and very thoroughly tested the bike, to get the best from the motor and battery and ensuring reliability.
As we are selling this bike fully built and giving warranties commensurate with an OEM bike, not selling this as a standalone “Kit”. We are not supplying the bluetooth dongle or access ot the EBMX app. You dont get this function with a standard bike and nor are we. The bike is very well tuned, just jump on and ride (hold on). Please read down below under “Performance” for a better explanation of how the bike is set up.

Performance Settings
The Competizione has been set up with offroad riding in mind. Fitted with the latest EBMX X-9000 controller and the upgrade 22s (81v) battery. Gaining tunning performance and a choice of 6 preset power levels. Tuned and locked by us the bike builder. We believe the bike has been set up to give the best possible performance from the massively upgraded 81.4v 4000Wh battery (55Ah equivalent @72v) with a whopping 21 kilowatts of power delivery.
EBMX displays give two riding modes: Road and Race. Each mode has three levels, with 3 the highest and 1 the lowest. We can’t change these titles, but we like to think (around 70 mph depending on weight, tyres etc) of them as:
Road = “Green Lane”. Longer straights with more open space for unlocked top speeds. Acceleration is a bit more linear and controllable, so we can concentrate the power to give the highest top speed available.
Level 3. This is maximum top speed and the most power hungry mode set at 22 kilowatts. Its best to use power level three when the battery is charged over 81v (halfway) and only hold fully open for 60 seconds at a time. You wouldn’t constantly red line your car or gas bike? Just back it off for a bit and re-apply full throttle when you need it. Less throttle = more range!
Level 2: We think this is the best compromise between power and range. The bike responds well and its still very fun to use without overly killing the range. This is the mode we use when green laning and we love it.
Level 1: Get you home mode. Power set at 6Kw. It wont make your heart squeeze, but you’ll get every last drop of power out of it to get you home. Rather a slow ride than a slower “push your bike”!
Race = “Racing”. Point the bike out of a burn, pass the trees, squirt, hit the jump, hold on and repeat! We’ve capped the top speed to 60 MPH so that we can concentrate the available power on pure, out the corner acceleration, – it rips!!
Level 3. This is maximum acceleration mode set at 22 kilowatts with huge Phase Current. Its best to use power level three when the battery is charged over 81v (halfway) and only hold fully open for 60 seconds at a time. It really is designed for riding very quick around true offroad terrain where high speeds are impossible and you’re on/off the throttle constantly and the track gives grip. In the muddy stuff, you’ll probably just spin it up everywhere. But acceleration is the name of the game. Remember to lean forward when taking off from standstill!
Level 2: A little more forgiving than mode 3, but still seriously quick and better on range. In heavy mud, you’ll probably still spin the wheel, but on better grip you will rocket forward.
Level 1: No slouch here. This is best suited for really poor grip conditions with better grip patches in-between. Its still very quick, maybe even too much for wet rock or deep mud. If your still slipping in this mode, then Road 2 might be a better choice with its slightly milder acceleration. Range is much better than the two higher levels in Race modes.
