Sur Ron Battery 81.4v 4455Wh Endurance Ultra Range 27Kw. Designed from the ground up to give huge range and huge top speed. The more volts you have, the more the RPM of the bike increases. But when you increase the volts, you need less amps (amps create damaging heat) to achieve the same power. The battery utilises the excellent Samsung 50s cell (this cell is excellent for range but not a huge power cell). At 26kw our 115 KG CEO makes the front wheel lift at 45 mph just under throttle. Imagine what the bike can do if your lighter? 80+mph is very realistic top speed although one of our lighter techs has almost hit 90mph (then ran out of both nerve and road).
Cells
242 Samsung 50s cells are connected by pure copper sheet connections. The Hybrid BMS is an ANT 550 BMS (220A/550A). The exoskeleton case is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel.
Power
Sur Ron Battery 81.4v 4455Wh Endurance Ultra Range 27Kw is capable of peak 32kW power (peak discharge for 51 seconds until cut off on mosfet temp protection). Our recommended max power setting, to preserve battery life, is 23kw and 630Pha.
Exoskeleton / Casing
We have upgraded the casing to marine grade 316 stainless steel, so absolutely no rust issues here! Super tough and powder coated inside and out.
Connector
The main Sur Ron Battery to controller connectors we use are two QS8 connectors with 6AWG going direct into the controller and a second smaller 8AWG QS8 connector with a free high power loom that goes via the red trip. We use two sets to share “parallel” the power. This reduces heat, transfers load more efficiently and keeps the connectors from overheating.
Fitting
The battery uses one set of upgraded high power 6AWG QS8 discharge cables. One to fit the original bikes connector (for Talaria we supply an adapter so it can also fit a Sur Ron too). The high power loom is supplied free with the battery.

Connecting To Bike
When connecting the battery to the bike and to avoid a spark, Slowly connect the male and female qs8 connectors together and then push firmly home.
First time charging is VERY important. Always connect the charger to the battery with the charger powered up at the mains first. This will stop a “Connection Spark”. The battery needs a “Balance Charge” on first charge. Please charge for 12 hours first time. Always charge your battery in a safe place and never unsupervised.
