Sur Ron Ultra Bee DHS 88v 60Ah Gen 2 includes charger and Lid . Desinged to work with an after market motor and controller (we recomend the VTB V9600 V2 Ultra 120v or the EBMX X9000V3) with an aftermarke BIG motor . The battery can supply incredibly high power and yet still has 780Wh more range than the original standard battery. So range is still increased. The Exteme high Power long range battery, with its higher associated motor RPM from higher volatge, giving over 2.5 bours of riding and ranges of up to 100 miles (in eco mode). The Ultimate power set up for riders wanting the very gnarlist hyper bikes.

This is th1e latest new gen 2 version with new updated casings. As the UKs premier supplier, unlike others we are authorised to undertake warranty repairs, so a quick turn around and a full complete back up support system is behind every battery we sell.

Confused which battery to buy?

Standard Ultra Bee 72v 60Ah Battery: Well built and no faff but limiting. Range 4320Wh Power 21kw

DHS 72v 80Ah: Works with standard controller and motor. Big Range increase (5760Wh). Cheapest. With aftermarket controller power goes to 28.8Kw

DHS 80v 80Ah: Recomend after market controller. Great blend of everything. Ultimate Range increase (6400Wh). More top speed (80V). Power goes 32Kw (Need motor if used at full power) . Mid Price.

DHS 88v 60Ah: Must have aftermarket controller. Must have BIG motor if using extreme power. Ultimate Power. Moderate Range increase (5280Wh). Highest top speed (88V). Power goes 74.8Kw (Needs motor if used at full power) . Highest Price.

Regen & High Power Set Ups

Running regen on high power set ups can cause damage to both the controller and your battery. The motor can give massive power spikes if the motor is quickly turned into a generator from wheel spin and re-engagement (wheelies, jumps, hitting pot holes hard etc.). The battery is designed to give high power and BMS mosfets struggle to suddenly have such a large reverse current fed into them.

We have seen well known third party controllers give damaging current as the controllers become unreliable under reverse polarity caused by their regen settings. “Motor Off” and thumb regen should be set low or better still turned off. If you are running extreme power like 20+ KW (250A, regen must be turned off. Failure to do so may invalidate your warranty.
