High Power Additional Loom QS8 Connector

UK stock and immediate shipping
Controller side only (please see other listing for battery side)
Best for EXMX X-9000 systems
EBMX controllers have a huge in rush of power that can often trip a battery BMS, as it thinks there is a short circuit.
The QS8 power cable is designed to be anti spark. When the connectors are pushed slowly together it sends a small amount of power through its first stage of connection (if you look in to the connector you can see that both the female plugs have two rings half way down). This pre-charges the controller very slightly, so that when fully pushed home the main power from the battery is delivered without a full “In Rush” and stops the BMS from tripping.
You will notice that some of our batteries come with two discharge cables. This is to “parallel” the output power and share the load. The power from the battery to the controller is known as Direct Current “DC” discharge, which can create heat at full power. Having two cables shares this power and vastly reduces the heat created.
Power from the controller to the motor is known as Phase Current, where the power flicks on and off very fast in phases, which creates less heat. If using the battery at full power, we highly recommend using the extra set of discharge cables provided and running your set up with two discharge leads from the battery to controller (extra lead provided on solo battery purchases, or already attached to the controller on full kit purchases).
We manufacture these to go with our 72v and 81v batteries (included with all original battery purchases).
Supplied with upgraded high power 6 AWG silicon cable.
One end with ring terminals which bolt directly to your controller :
Red: positive
Black: negative.
The other end with QS8 connector which goes straight into the battery.
Please remember to use the below connection sequence:
Connection order:
#01, Turn off trip by flicking red switch to the left
#02, Plug in original power lead to battery (battery and power leads only plug in one way)
